Reproduction is a complex process in the life cycle of fish. In a captive condition, energetic and highly nutritious diets especially high content of fatty acids such as docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), arachidonic acid (ARA), eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), Linolenic acid (ALA) and Linoleic acid (LA) provide the necessary nutrient factors for the development of gonad, enhance the egg size, high fecundity and sperm count and fast maturation. The regular brooder diets do not contain such important fatty acid elements rather than protein, which is important for the reproductive process in the fish. Hence, MATURA was specially designed with collaboration of Israel Scientists for the purpose. MATURA possessed high amount of fatty acid resources which compensate the specific requirement of fish for the reproductive performance by inducing the fast gonad maturation and its associated processes.
